Gretchen Clark,

Gretchen Clark received her Bachelors Degree in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in Child Life at Mississippi State University. She received a Master of Occupational Therapy in 2000 from Nova Southeastern University , in Ft. Lauderdale , Florida. While at Nova, Gretchen became actively involved as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in a pilot school for children with autism. After graduating, Gretchen worked as a pediatric occupational therapist at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and also began her own home health agency, A Helping Hand Pediatric Therapy. Renee and Gretchen merged their companies to form Kidsplay Therapy Center in March of 2003. Gretchen loves working both with the children and their families. She serves primarily in an administration role at this time and loves being able to develop new programs that will benefit the children and their families. She has always loved the field of pediatrics and feels it is her life mission to work with children and families. Gretchen is married with
one son and one daughter. Outside of Kidsplay, Gretchen enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending Church, and playing tennis.

Marlene Eidson,

Marlene has over 20 years of accounting experience. She has been with Kidsplay since February 2004. Before then she spent four years with a Lawrenceville CPA firm. She has worked with the State of Georgia and Dekalb County and was also an election poll manager, which was a very enjoyable experience. In the middle of Marlene’s career, she took 15 years away from full-time work to raise her two sons. During those years she taught 4 year old preschool at her church, and thoroughly loved every minute of it. Here at Kidsplay, she is happy to be able to combine her love of children and accounting into one job!
Marlene has been married to a wonderful husband for over 36 years and has two grown sons. In her spare time, Marlene enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading and traveling. She and her husband love to go antiquing! She is very happy to be working with all the wonderful people here at Kidsplay and thanks God for bringing her here.

Judy Camp,
Client Coordinator

Judy is our Client Coordinator. She is a native Atlantan. She and her husband of 37 years live in Loganville, Georgia. They have a daughter and son-in-law who live in North Carolina and a daughter and son-in-law who live in Norcross.
She and her husband love spending time with their families, dining out, and the outdoors. They are active members in their church and Judy is involved in the Ministry Village supporting foster children in Walton County.
Judy worked in accounting with Associated Distributors for six years. After taking time off to be home with her daughters, she returned to work teaching preschool at a local church for 10 years. She then began working in the Gwinnett County School system teaching children with autism K-5th grade and also special needs preschool.
I am very blessed to be a part of such a special team of people here at Kidsplay, who love working with children. |

Diane Hickey,

After receiving her Associates Degrees in Medical, Legal and Business Administrative Arts in Massachusetts, Diane began her career in Boston where she met her husband of 10 years. She took time away from her career to be an at home mom to raise her two children. Diane moved to Atlanta in 2004 with her family. Here at Kidsplay she resumed her career as the Billing Assistant. Diane, along with her husband and children, walk in the Georgia Walk for Autism to raise awareness for Asperger’s Syndrome each year. She enjoys spending time with her family on day trips to Zoo Atlanta and Stone Mountain, and dining out with girlfriends. She is happy to be working at Kidsplay with an amazing staff.

Miranda Barrett,
Occupational Therapist

Miranda Barrett received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from North Georgia College and State University. She received a Master of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from Brenau University. She has experience in the pediatric private clinic and early intervention settings. Miranda has attended a Handwriting Without Tears seminar and is a certified Interactive Metronome instructor. She enjoys spending time with her husband, two dogs, and family. Her favorite past times are baking, crafts, tennis, and playing the piano. |

Susan Harris,

Susan Harris has over fifteen years experience as a speech language pathologist. She has worked in various settings and with various patient populations including hospitals, day-program rehabilitation, school settings and out patient services. She has experience in articulation, language and swallowing remediation with adults and children. She enjoys helping children reach their communication goals.

Kim Register Smith,

Kim Smith is a speech-language pathologist who received her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Georgia in 1998. She then completed her Master’s degree in Communication Disorders at Appalachian State University in 2000. She has worked primarily with children over the past eight years. Kim enjoys working with all types of disorders, however, she has developed a strong interest and experience in working with augmentative communication systems. Kim is very active in her church through teaching Sunday School and participating in local missions work. She enjoys a variety of activities in her free time such as camping, hiking, rafting, playing games, reading, and enjoying time with friends and family. She currently resides in Loganville with her husband and young son. |

Andrea K. Brown

Andrea Brown graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Communications Science and Disorders in May of 2000. She received a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in December of 2003. She completed her CFY in Miami , Florida at a private clinic. She is a speech pathologist at Kidsplay Therapy Center and is responsible for providing services to those children that have speech and or language deficits. Thorough comprehensive learning and play activities, she encourages language acquisition and the facilitation of various communication skills. She enjoys getting to know her co-workers outside work, spending time with friends and family, listening to music, mastering a new recipe, and learning about new and interesting things. |

Laura Coffee

Laura Coffee is a certified speech-language pathologist and a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. She received her Bachelor of Science in Education with a major in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Georgia. Laura earned her Master of Arts in Communication Disorders from Appalachian State University. She has 14 years of experience in the field of speech-language pathology, with the majority of that experience in pediatric outpatient rehabilitation and home therapy.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys every moment she spends with her two beautiful young daughters and her husband of nearly 18 years.

Dr. Steven Hobbs

Dr. Steven Hobbs is a
pediatric psychologist with over 25 years
experience providing services to children
with developmental and medical issues and
their families. He received his graduate
training in clinical psychology at the
University of Georgia and the University of
Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Hobbs has been a
pediatric psychologist at West Virginia
University Medical Center , Children's
Medical Center ( Tulsa , Oklahoma ), and
Egleston Children's Hospital. He has been a
faculty member at the University of Tulsa ,
the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State
University, West Virginia University , and
Emory University School of Medicine. He is
an a uthor of 40 professional journal
articles and 7 book chapters on
developmental issues and behavioral problems
in children. Dr. Hobbs is currently
Professor of Clinical Psychology at the
Georgia School of Professional Psychology at
Argosy University-Atlanta. |
